Create a New Event

Watch the video or follow the step-by-step guide on how to create a single event.

  1. Located on the Dashboard, select +New Event

  2. Enter the event details (see below for specifics regarding event details)

  3. Click Next

  4. Define Ticket Levels

  5. Click Next

  6. Confirm all ticket levels have been created by selecting Confirm

  7. Preview and Publish

Note: Event name, type, description and details can be edited by opening the event and selecting Edit within the Event Options square (located below the event photo). Ticket levels can be edited individually within the Ticket Levels & Pricing section. Limitations apply if the event has ended.

To Create a Single New event, Located in the Dashboard, select + New Event

Event Details

  1. Choose the Event Type that best suits the function of the event and update Custom Button if necessary.

  2. Select the School, School Year, Department and Team/Activity based on the event.

  3. Link the opposing team as the Participants. To create an Away Game, set participant as the Home team. If they are a Hometown customer, their ticketing link will automatically be connected. To connect a non-Hometown customer's ticketing, change Event Type to External Ticketing, a field to manually include the ticketing link will appear.

  4. Event Scheduling allows for multi-team ticketed events, grouping parent and child events for clarity in scheduling and purchasing.

  5. A name to identify an event. Fans can search this name when attempting to locate an event.

  6. Choose a Venue to display online for location and directions.

  7. Ticket Redemption describes how fans redeem tickets. We recommend scanning in most situations.

  8. Set the local Start & End Time of your event. Keep in mind after the end time passes, tickets for the event will not be scannable.

  9. School Club/Fund is internal only and will appear on payout reports.

  10. The Refund Policy and Event Policy will be used to share details of any event rules with your fans.

  11. Description is an open text box for you to add any details for your fans.

  12. Event Image is an optional addition that will be displayed on your ticketing page and PDF copy of your tickets.
