Delete an Event

Discover how to delete an event or how to remove it from the dashboard

Occasionally, it will be necessary to delete an event from the Box Office entirely. In most cases, we’ll just recommend Unpublishing an event and letting the date pass, so you don’t lose any data. But, you do have the option to delete an event completely if no tickets have been sold!

Deleting an Event:

  1. Navigate to the Event Details of the event that needs to be deleted

  2. Click Delete and confirm

Keep in mind that the Delete button will not be clickable if any tickets have been sold or if there is a product catalog attached to the event.

Need to Delete an Event but Have Ticket Sales?

  1. Login to the box office

  2. Click on your event that needs to be deleted

  3. Click on the Public icon in the top right corner

  4. Select the Unpublish option

  5. From there, click on Edit under the Event Options

  6. Locate the Event End date/time

  7. Change the Date/Time to a past date to remove the event from the Dashboard. This event can now be found under Past Events.

Note: Although the event was not deleted, it will no longer be visible to the public or appear on the box office dashboard.
