What "In Review" means
When you create a fundraiser on Schoolfundr, it's automatically placed in In Review status. This is completely normal. It's a safety step that ensures every fundraiser is set up correctly before going live.
After creating your fundraiser, you should receive an email from a Schoolfundr Fundraiser Expert within 1–3 business days. They'll introduce themselves, share a link to schedule a quick setup call, and walk you through getting your campaign launched.
This review step exists to prevent fundraisers from accidentally going live before they're ready (for example, if a student creates one while trying to join as a participant). Once you connect with your Expert, they'll handle the rest.
Important: "In Review" does not mean something is wrong with your fundraiser. It simply means your Fundraiser Expert needs to connect with you before the campaign can go live. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for their outreach email.
What to expect when you create a fundraiser
Here's how the process works from start to launch:
You create your fundraiser. It's placed in "In Review" status automatically
A Fundraiser Expert reaches out. They'll contact you by email to introduce themselves and schedule a quick setup meeting
You meet with your Expert. A short call to finalize your fundraiser details: dates, goals, participants, and any customizations
You approve the fundraiser. After the meeting, you review and approve the final setup
Your fundraiser moves to Draft. Your Expert makes any final adjustments
Your fundraiser goes live! Your Expert launches the campaign and you're ready to start raising funds
💡 Tip: The whole process typically takes just a few days. Having your fundraiser details ready (preferred start and end dates, fundraising goal, and participant list) can help speed things up.

FAQs
How long does the review process take?
Most leaders hear from their Fundraiser Expert within 1–3 business days of creating their fundraiser. If you need to launch on a tight timeline, reach out to support and we'll do our best to expedite things.
Can I launch the fundraiser myself?
No. Fundraisers can only be launched by your Fundraiser Expert after you've had your setup meeting and approved the campaign. This ensures everything is configured correctly so your fundraiser runs smoothly from day one.
