How to end your fundraiser early
If your fundraiser is still live and you'd like to wrap it up ahead of schedule, you have two options:
Change the end date yourself. Go to Overview and set an earlier end date
Contact support to close it immediately. Reach out through the chat on our website or email [email protected] and we'll shut it down for you
Note: Ending your fundraiser makes the Withdraw button available in the Payouts tab. You won't lose any donations that have already been made.
I want to cancel a fundraiser I created
If you created a fundraiser by mistake, or you're no longer planning to run it, contact our support team to have it removed. Cancelling or deleting a fundraiser is not something you can do from your dashboard.
Reach out through the chat on our website or email [email protected] with your name, email, and fundraiser name, and we'll take care of it.
š” Tip: If you created a fundraiser just to explore the platform and aren't ready to commit yet, no worries. Let us know and we'll remove it. You can always create a new one when you're ready.
I want to deactivate my fundraiser
Leaders cannot deactivate a fundraiser from the dashboard. If you need your fundraiser deactivated, contact our support team through chat or email. Your Fundraiser Expert can also help with this.
Important: A deactivated fundraiser will show a 404 error page to visitors that might have access to the link.
FAQs
What happens to donations if I cancel or end my fundraiser?
Any donations already made are safe. They'll still be available for payout after the fundraiser ends. Ending early does not reverse existing donations. Cancelling a fundraiser will require refunds to be issued to all donors.
Can I restart a fundraiser after ending it?
If your fundraiser has ended and you need to reopen it, contact our support team. They can extend the end date or help you set up a new campaign.
What's the difference between ending, cancelling, and deactivating?
Ending means your fundraiser reaches its end date (or you move it up). You can then request your payout. Cancelling or deactivating means deleting the fundraiser entirely, including refunding any donations that might have been made.
Can my fundraiser be reinstated after it is deactivated?
No, deactivating or canceling a fundraiser is irreversible. Contact our support team if you'd like to set up a new campaign.
