How do I delete or change my account?

Learn how to delete your account, remove a fundraiser, or update your account information.


I want to delete my Schoolfundr account

Account deletion is handled by our support team. You can't delete your account from the dashboard yourself.

To request deletion, reach out through the chat on our website or email [email protected] with your name and the email address associated with your account.

Important: If you have an active fundraiser or a pending payout, make sure those are resolved before requesting account deletion. Once your account is deleted, it can't be recovered.


I want to delete a fundraiser but keep my account

If you just want to remove a specific fundraiser (not your entire account), contact our support team through chat or email. Let us know your name, email, and the fundraiser name you want deleted.

Note: You might not need to delete it. If the fundraiser is still in "In Review" or was created by mistake, we can simply remove it. If it already ran and you've received your payout, it will just stay in your dashboard as a completed campaign.


I need to change information on my account

Most account details can be updated directly from the Account tab in your dashboard (or by clicking your avatar in the top right corner). You can change:

  • Name and preferred contact name

  • Organization name

  • Country and zip code

  • Phone number

  • Password

For changes that require support (like updating your email address or transferring ownership of a fundraiser), reach out through chat or email at [email protected].

Can I change the email on my account?

Yes, but this requires help from our support team. Reach out through chat or email with your current email, new email, and fundraiser name.

I accidentally created two accounts. Can I merge them?

Contact our support team through chat or email. We can help consolidate your accounts and make sure your fundraiser is connected to the right one.

Can someone else take over my fundraiser?

Yes. If you need to transfer a fundraiser to a different leader, contact our support team with both email addresses and the fundraiser name. We'll reassign it on our end.

Accidentally join a fundraiser as a participant instead of a leader?

If you accidentally joined as a participant of a fundraiser when you should be leading it, please reach out to our support via chat or email at [email protected].
