How do I join my fundraiser?

Learn how to find your join link, create your account, and get your fundraiser page set up.


How joining works

You can't sign yourself up for a fundraiser by searching the Schoolfundr website. You need an invitation or join link from your coach, teacher, or group leader. Once you have that, setup takes just a few minutes.

Important: If you don't have a join link yet, contact your coach or teacher. They send the invite from their leader dashboard. Support cannot add you to a fundraiser without confirmation from your leader.


Joining with a link

Your leader can share a join link with you in two ways:

  • Email invite. You'll get an email with a button or link to join. Click it to get started

  • Direct join link. Your leader may share a URL that looks like app.schoolfundr.org/participant/[fundraiser-name]/join. Open it in a browser to get started

When you open the link, you'll be asked to enter your email address first. The system will check whether you already have a Schoolfundr account. If you do, you'll be prompted to enter your password. If not, you'll be asked to create one. After setup, your personal fundraising page will be live and ready to share.

šŸ’” Tip: Use an email address you have easy access to. You'll use it to log in, and it's where donation notifications and your contacts' responses will be sent.


Parents signing up on behalf of their child

If a parent is managing the account for their student, that's totally fine. Use the parent's email address when creating the account. Each participant needs a unique email address, so if you have more than one child in the same fundraiser, each child will need a separate email.

Note: If your child's twin or sibling is also participating, your leader will need to send a second invite to a different email address. One account cannot represent two participants.


My page shows "Coming Soon"

If you've joined but your page says "Coming Soon" when someone tries to donate, it usually means the fundraiser hasn't been approved and launched by your leader yet. You can't fix this yourself. Let your coach or teacher know


FAQs

I never got an invite email. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, ask your coach or teacher to resend the invite or share the join link directly with you.

I already have a Schoolfundr account. Do I need to create a new one?

No. When you open the join link and enter your email, the system will recognize your existing account and prompt you to log in with your password.

I signed up with the wrong email. Can I change it?

Yes, but you'll need help from our support team. You can't change your email address from your account settings yourself. Contact us through chat or email at [email protected].

My school email isn't working. Can I use a personal email?

Yes. You can use any email address you have access to. If you already have an account under your school email and need to switch, reach out to support through chat or email.
