Which email to use
Use whatever email address you check regularly and have easy access to. That's it. There's no requirement to use a school email, and a personal Gmail, iCloud, or Yahoo address works just fine.
Important: Each participant needs a unique email address. Two people cannot share the same account. If a sibling or teammate is also in the fundraiser, they need their own email and their own account.
If a parent is managing their child's account
If you're a parent signing up on behalf of your student, use your own email address when creating the account. You'll be the one logging in, managing contacts, and tracking donations. The account will show your student's name on their fundraising page, but the email and password belong to whoever is running the account day-to-day.
š” Tip: If you have two kids in the same fundraiser, each one needs a separate account with a different email address. You can use two of your own emails (like a work email for one and a personal email for the other) if your student doesn't have their own.
Issues with school email addresses
School email addresses sometimes cause problems. Districts may block outside emails, or students lose access when a school year ends. If you signed up with a school email and can no longer access it, contact our support team through chat or email at [email protected] and we can update the email on your account.
FAQs
Can I change my email later?
Yes, but it requires help from our support team. You can't change your email yourself from the account settings. Reach out through chat or email and we'll update it for you.
My school email isn't receiving the invite. What should I do?
School districts sometimes filter outside emails. Ask your coach or teacher to share the direct join link instead, and sign up using a personal email address you can access.
