Why this happens
Duplicate accounts usually happen when a participant signs up twice with two different email addresses. This can happen when you get a new invite (for a new fundraiser year), use a school email once and a personal email another time, or a parent signs up separately from the student.
Important: Don't just ignore one account. If your donations went to one and you're logged into the other, your fundraising total won't look right and you may not be able to access your page correctly.
How to fix it
This is something our support team handles. We'll look at both accounts, identify which one has your donations and active fundraiser, and delete the empty one.
To get this sorted, reach out through chat or email at [email protected] with:
Your name
Both email addresses (if you know them)
The name of your fundraiser
We'll confirm which account to keep and remove the duplicate.
