How do I add my email contacts?

Learn how to add email contacts, understand the 50-contact limit, and know when emails go out.

50-contact limit per fundraiser. You can only add up to 50 email addresses to your campaign. If you have more, reach out to them via social media or SMS.

How to add your contacts

Log into your participant dashboard and find the Email uploader. From there you can type in email addresses one at a time, or paste in a list. For each contact, you can also personalize the name that appears on the outreach email. Once you've submitted, Schoolfundr will send each of them a personalized donation email on your behalf once your fundraiser is live.

šŸ’” Tip: Double-check both the email address and the name for each contact before submitting. Neither can be edited after submission, and typos mean the email goes nowhere.

When do the emails go out?

Emails to your contacts are sent automatically once your fundraiser officially launches. You can upload your contacts at any time before the fundraiser begins, and they'll be ready to receive emails as soon as it goes live. If your fundraiser page still shows "Coming Soon," your contacts have not received their emails yet.

What if you have more than 50 contacts?

You can still reach out to them via social media and SMS. Use the one-click sharing options in your dashboard or in your fundraiser page to share your campaign with as many people you'd like to.

FAQs

Can I edit or remove a contact after I've submitted them?

Yes. You can remove a contact from your participant dashboard. Look for the contacts table at the bottom of the screen, click on the 3-dots to the right of their name and click on "Delete". Once an email batch is sent, the email addresses and the names associated with them are locked. If you remove a contact in the middle of your campaign the contact will not receive any future emails from your fundraiser.

What if I accidentally add the same email twice?

The system will skip any duplicates. That contact won't receive multiple copies of the same email.
